All aboard! Castle Rock’s Winter Express is Saturday, Dec. 17

Take a ride on the Castle Rock Winter Express train. Festival Park will be transformed into the North Pole, where kids can enjoy a short train ride around the park and other activities from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17.

Here’s what to know before you go:

  • The train station is in Festival Park. Trains leave roughly every 10 minutes. Festival Park is located at Second and Perry streets in Downtown Castle Rock.
  • Please dress warmly and bring your holiday spirit. This is expected to be a popular event!
  • Other activities include carriage rides, selfies with Santa, an Elf House and more. Those are free and run from 2 to 5 p.m. Please note, this is the last Season of the Star event that will include these activities.
  • Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
  • Parking is available at Town Hall and along Downtown streets. Second Street will be closed for the event.

More Season of the Star
There are two more events planned as part of the second annual Season of the Star event series, presented by the Promenade at Castle Rock. Dress warmly and get the family Downtown for these fun events and activities:

Dec. 24: Christmas Eve Candlelight Services, 4-5 p.m., Festival Park

Dec. 31: Castle Rockin’ New Year’s Eve, 5-8 p.m., Festival Park

Events are free. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
