Councilman Townsend hosts open house for residents in District 2

Getting your thoughts and answering your questions are top priorities for the Town of Castle Rock.

District 2 Councilmember James Townsend will host an open house to hear from residents from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, at Fire Station No. 155 on Crowfoot Valley Road. District 2 includes The Woodlands, Metzler Ranch, Sapphire Pointe, The Pines at Castle Rock Apartments, and Diamond Ridge.

During the open house, residents can ask questions and learn about various Town services and projects from Town staff. Many departments will be represented including Police, Fire, Roads, Water, Building and more.

“I am both honored and humbled by the opportunity to serve as the Town Councilmember for District 2,” Townsend said. “I understand the challenges that come with the office, and while I feel that my time on the Castle Rock Planning Commission was excellent training, I am excited to learn more. I have met with many of the staff leading the various departments, the Town Manager, and members of staff, and am looking forward to listening to my neighbors who live in District 2 about their concerns and questions.”
