Join Castle Rock Fire and Rescue for a community open house May 6

When you call 911 to report a medical or fire emergency, the Castle Rock Fire and Rescue Department is likely to be at your door in less than 8 minutes. Maintaining that standard for the more than 5,000 calls for service every year takes a dedicated staff and the right equipment.

Learn more about how CRFD serves the community, and meet local firefighters during an open house from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, May 6, at Station 153 in Founders Village. The station is located at 5463 Sovereign St.

During the open house, tour the station and get a behind-the-scenes look at firefighting. Then, help put a new fire engine into service. Fire Chief Art Morales will explain the new engine, what the department does with the engine being replaced and answer questions.

“We take pride in providing the best possible emergency services to our community,” Morales said. “We are so grateful for the community’s support, and we hope you’ll join us during this open house so we can say ‘thank you.’”
